And week after next while they are scheaming to beat up on me instead of
doing productive work at their place of employ, just remember that I'm
at Philmont casting a dry fly in those beaver ponds just upstream from
Miranda while my lovely wife cooks supper and Mark L. cleans the dishes
all for my two patch collection. A bargain is a bargain.

Gotta love them old guys who totally miss the point. Good thing that
they remember the good stories.

Yeah I will do the dishes. Not for the patches but for the stories.
I am sure I will also end up with a picture of me at the top of Baldy or
wherever else that other really old guy wants me to be seen with it. I
will be brining my own flag this time as well. One of the Stars
represents my home state. I will carry a star for each of your home
states as well.

I don't do the AA to go camping. Naw, got me an entire Sierra Nevada
mountain range almost as close as the Airport. I will do it for the
stories. I will do it to tell tales to the young men on my pack and
troop and it will help stretch their imagination. I will do it because
I can and that's good enough.

Of course I will likely be the youngest guy (or close) on the trek again
this year. Not nearly the most fit, almost certainly the dumbest, and
will also have the most fun. Someone else will claim to have a better
time and I will concede the point. Long as it gets me back again next time.

But I will take the patches..... A bargain is a bargain.

OK. Off to the Airport. My private jet is calling me to kilgore.
