Can't help with "official" information at the Ranch, but a check on the
Carson National Forest website (they 'own' Valle Vidal) should have pretty
close to the same information regarding fires in the backcountry. Haven't
looked, but this year I would imagine the restrictions are minimal and
probably right in line with LNT guidelines.

Also does anyone have any Philmont material (some sort of computer format)
dealing with fire policy in the backcountry? I am looking for actual
material(that I make into handouts) not just what the rangers have told your
group, what you have heard, ect...
