Mark et al,
I thought packing at the last minute was a universal law for everyone, not just Claiforniana. I know it rules at my household anyway.
And as if I were going to break that law and be ready a coupla days early this time around, the government enforcers, aka the Weather Bureau, threw in a hurricane this time to foil my plans.
I do think the reason they renamed the agency from Weather Bureau to NOAA as in Noaa's Ark is it has something to do with rain and lots of it.
Of course, now that we are in a technological age we have to run generators during the aftermath also instead of just waiting on the front porch for the lights to come back on.
John LeBlanc
PS
Just sittin here waiting until Wednesday night so I don't break the packing rules.
